Terms & Conditions

Associated Event

  1. This is an event or activity promoted and ticketed by the Art Deco Trust.
  2. The event or activity must comply with the Winter Deco Event Criteria and the Winter Deco Health and Safety Plan.
  3. The Art Deco Trusts fee is 15% commission based on gross tickets sales (GST Exclusive).
  4. iTICKET inside ticketing fees (60c per ticket) will be on-charged to event organisers.

  1. All Associated events receive a comprehensive marketing package consisting of:
    • A complimentary listing in the Winter Deco Programme (5,000 copies).
    • Listing on the Art Deco Festival website on a dedicated Winter Deco page, iTICKET Winter Deco events page and Eventfinda.
    • Ticketing via the Art Deco Centre, iTICKET website and outlets.
    • Set up of event organiser online viewing options for ticket sales via the iTICKET website. Please ensure that you complete this section with a current email address if you wish to view your online sales.
    • Inclusion in the Winter Deco marketing campaign.
  1. Cancellation Policy – Associated Events that cancel are required to pay for the following:
    • Art Deco Trust Associated Event Cancellation fee $195 + gst
    • All ticket cancellation fee’s
  1. If you include music as part of your event, please be advised that you will be responsible for the APRA Licensing Fees.
  2. No changes are to be made to the event or description or inclusions without prior approval from the Event Manager.  No changes can take place once programme has been approved and printed.

Independent Event

  1. This is an event or activity that is included in the Winter Deco programme, but not ticketed by the Art Deco Trust. These events must be either free entry or entry by donation only.
  2. The event or activity must comply with the Winter Deco Event Criteria and the Winter Deco Health and Safety Plan.
  3. A fee of $350 + gst will be charged to list your event in the Winter Deco programme.

All event registrations will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Celebrating the Art Deco Trust’s Vision Statement ‘Having the spirit of Art Deco Shine on’
  • Celebrating the Art Deco style from the era (1920s & 1930s)
    • Glitz & Glamour
    • Style
    • Fashion
    • Heritage
    • Entertainment
    • Food & Beverage
  • Offer a unique experience that the audience cannot attend or obtain any other time of the year
  • Deliver a high standard across all elements of the event and align with the Art Deco Trust & Napier Art Deco Festival Brands
  • Showcase the best of Hawke’s Bay venues while celebrating food, wine, arts, and entertainment

Event registrations will be assessed by the Art Deco Trust to ensure they fit the criteria and fit into the balance of the overall event programme.

Registrations will then be accepted, returned with change requests, or declined.
