The Art Deco Festival Napier will be held from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th February

Please complete all sections of the event registration form for your event or activity to be considered for inclusion in the 2022 Summer Festival programme of events.

Registrations close at 5pm on Monday 23th August 2021

All event registrations will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Celebrating the Art Deco Trust’s Vision Statement ‘Having the spirit of Art Deco Shine on’.
  • Celebrating the Art Deco style from the era (1920s & 1930s)
    • Glitz & Glamour
    • Style
    • Fashion
    • Heritage
    • Entertainment
    • Food & Beverage
  • Offer a unique experience that the audience cannot attend or obtain any other time of the year.
  • Deliver a high standard across all elements of the event and align with the Art Deco Trust & Napier Art Deco Festival Brands.
  • Showcase the best of Hawke’s Bay venues while celebrating food, wine, arts, and entertainment.

Event registrations will be assessed by the Art Deco Trust to ensure they fit the criteria and fit into the balance of the overall event programme.

Registrations will then be accepted, returned with change requests, or declined. Read full Terms and conditions here.

This will be edited if required for inclusion in the ADT Summer Festival Programme.

Event facilities can operate at Alert Level 2.

Event facilities can have up to 100 people within any defined space. They also need to assess how many people can safely be inside the premises and still maintain 1 metre physical distancing. This could mean the facility needs to have fewer than 100 people in a defined space.

If you go to an event facility, you legally must keep 1 metre physical distance from people you do not know, where possible — if you cannot, wearing a face covering is encouraged.

Level 2 planning ensures those venues and events that can operate under Level 2 restrictions can continue under the Summer Festival umbrella.

Seated — customers legally must be seated. Separated — keep at least 1 metre apart from other groups. Single server — each group will have only 1 server, where practical.

We recommend if your event is seated to supply a floorplan to enable allocated seating. This removes the risk around sold out events not accommodating groups that wish to be seated together and makes it clear for the purchaser at the point of sale).
