Dust off your treasured family recipe book and get ready to celebrate this iconic Hawke’s Bay fruit at the Art Deco Apple Pie Competition! Whether you’re a seasoned baker or a novice in the kitchen, this event is your chance to get creative.
Do you have a secret family recipe or a unique twist on a classic? We welcome all pie styles and flavours. Pies will be judged on overall appearance, crust, filling, taste and creativity.

Categories include Child 12 and under, Youth 13 years to 18 years, and Adult 18 and over. Prizes for the top 3 in each category. Pies can be submitted from 10.00am – 10.30am. Judging commences at 10.30am.
