Marewa, the Māori word for ‘a gift from the sea’, is the name given to this beautiful residential suburb built on land raised by the 1931 Hawke’s Bay earthquake. Your guide will take you on a walking tour of the Art Deco homes and gardens of this unique area, giving you a fascinating insight into residential Art Deco design. Your tour includes a Devonshire Tea with transport to and from Marewa.
