The Veronica Bell is the symbol of the 1931 earthquake and the Navy’s tireless help in its aftermath. Share this moment with us as we commemorate those who lost their lives in the 1931 earthquake that is referred to as one of ‘New Zealand’s greatest natural disasters’.
