Ceremonial Sunset
The ‘Ceremonial Sunset’ performed by the Royal New Zealand Navy Band, is the Naval ceremony of bringing down the New Zealand White Ensign on all of the Navy’s Ships and shore establishments, signifying the end of the day. During the ceremony the Band will play an evening hymn followed by a bugler sounding sunset, at which time the New Zealand White Ensign will be lowered.
